A great way to start your vacation on St. Croix is an island tour with Safari Tours. Their open air jeeps can take from 4 to 16 passengers and will give you a great introduction to the island. The guides are a wealth of information as they have lived on the island most if not all their lives.

Ride horses on the beach!

Looking for a great way to see the island from a unique perspective? Look no further than horseback riding on the beach or through the rain forest with Paul and Jill.

Check out the dive company that was voted Best dive shop on St. Croix for 2007 as well as the one Villa Greenleaf staff was certified with, Anchor Dive Shop (www.anchordivestcroix.com). It is only a 5 minute boat ride to St. Croix's best (and most requested) dive sites from Anchor Dive Center's prime location in Salt River National Park. Their professional and courteous PADI trained staff are the best on St. Croix for diver training, and their daily operations focus on small groups for personal attention.

Cane Bay Dive Shop on the North Shore offers diving on your schedule, whether from the shore or boat. Cane Bay is known worldwide as one of the most spectacular wall dives because the dropoff starts in only 25 feet of water and rolls off at a 60° angle to almost 3 miles deep. Non-divers and snorkelers can spend the day on the beach right at the dive shop.

Another dive shop in the North Shore worth looking into is N2 the Blue this small but friendly shop keeps in nice and minimal by taking no more than 6 divers on the boat at a time. They also give you the option to get the classroom work out of the way before you get to the island so that you can get certified in St. Croix without having to spend your days taking tests! Take a look at their website to get the paperwork and more information.
