Scuba West (www.divescubawest.com)in Frederiksted offers great short calm water boat dives on the leeward side of the island. You can always dive here when the seas are too much for you on the other side.

Kayaking on St. Croix is one of the greatest ways to enjoy Salt River Bay, our National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve. Virgin Kayak can take you there in a safe, and relaxing, top of the line kayak. Their coastal sea tours are the best way to see St. Croix's magnificent North Shore.

Buck Island, one of only two underwater U.S. national monuments, is just two miles north of St. Croix, and Big Beard's Adventure Tours offers twice daily sailings. Big Beard's knowledgeable and friendly crew will teach the novice to snorkel and guide you through the underwater monument. Buck Island also offers one of the most pristine beaches for sunning.
